Groton State Forest Trail Race and Lanesboro Road

The event is a trail race on the trails in Groton State Forest September 8, 2018. Runners will start at Boulder Beach and be running either 15 or 26.5 miles. After summiting Owls Head will come down the access road, cross route 232, and continue on Lanesboro Road. 15 Mile runners will turn right at the connector trail a short ways down Lanesboro Road. 26.5 mile runners will continue on to Kettle Pond for a loop around the pond and return. We will have an Aid Station at the trail head for the Connector trail, so there will be some activity there on the side of the road. We would expect the aid station to be open and runners to be using the road between about 8:15 and 12:30.
More information can be found on our Central Vermont Runners page, or Facebook Event page.
